Outsourcing Manager

What is an outsourcing manager?

The bridge to great games

An outsourcing manager acts as the main contact point between our in-house teams and external studios both in Japan and abroad. They participate in negotiations, oversee asset production and perform quality assurance on outsourced content.

As gaming hardware continues to evolve, players have come to demand ever greater quality and scale from their games. By bridging the gap between PlatinumGames and our outsourcing partners, you’ll help us deliver titles that exceed expectations. As an outsourcing manager, you’ll ensure that all content we receive from our partners represents our directors’ and artists’ vision as faithfully as the work they create themselves, while fostering an engaging, satisfying cooperative environment for all parties.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Applicants with experience in outsourcing management in an entertainment industry (experience in the games industry preferred)
  • Applicants experienced in tracking and managing the progress of multiple projects
  • Applicants with strong communication skills
  • English proficiency is enthusiastically welcomed, but not required.

All applicants must have experience as outsourcing management staff. PlatinumGames is an equal-opportunity employer and does not base hiring decisions on the race or citizenship of applicants.

Language Requirements:

For you to be your best at PlatinumGames, either Japanese or English is needed for communication with other members of our team.
