PlatinumGames does not discriminate on race, educational background, or nationality. Those with no prior game company experience are also welcome to apply. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
For you to be your best at PlatinumGames, Japanese is needed for communication with other members of our team. A good rule of thumb is a minimum of a Japanese Language Proficency Test N3 level, with N2 level preferred.
For experienced applicants with exceptional skills but lower Japanese abilities, PlatinumGames encourages you to make efforts to learn Japanese and communicate in the office while on-the-job, with a shared understanding that gaining a strong Japanese communication ability will be integral to your success in our office environment.
General Employment Terms And Conditions
- Employment Type: Full Employee (Probationary Period: First Three Months)
- Starting Salary: Annual salary will be set commensurate with experience and ability, regardless of age.
- Salary Review: Once yearly, every April
- Benefits: All types of social insurance (medical, unemployment, etc.), fitness and relaxation club in the building (use is free of charge)
- Office Location: Umeda Sky Building, Tower West 8F, 1-1-30 Oyodonaka, Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan
- Working Hours: 9:30 to 18:00 (1 Hour Break)
- Days Off/Holidays: 2 Days Off Per Week (Sat, Sun), National Holidays, Summer Vacation (5 days), Paid Vacation (Granted at end of probationary period, per company rules), family leave, other special leave. Upon completion of a project, 7 to 30 days of Refresh leave will be awarded.
- Research: PlatinumGames encourages active participation in industry associations (CEDEC, etc.)

Hiring Guidelines
In principle, final interviews will be conducted in our Japanese offices.
Non-Japan residents seeking employment with PlatinumGames must be willing to relocate to Japan. Visa/Relocation support will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
